Club Pocket PC - Boston Meeting Wednesday, August 15th#
Post By Don Sorcinelli

The next Club Pocket PC - Boston meeting will be held this Wednesday, August 15th starting at 6:30 PM at the Microsoft offices in Waltham, MA (201 Jones Road, 6th Floor). A note regarding this month's meeting - we will be holding the meeting in the Rhode Island Room (rather than the customary MPR rooms).

Our main topic for this meeting will be a presentation I will be doing entitled "Windows Mobile Security Models - Soup To Nuts". The discussion will cover the various types of security imposed via "locking", the security models for application installation and execution, and the process for obtaining and getting the proper certificate credentials for the Windows Mobile environment. For developers of Windows Mobile applications (both internal enterprise applications and commercial developers), this information is essential for successful deployments. For end-users, this information can be extremely enlightening in answering many questions regarding installing applications to your device.

As always, there will be lots of goodies for our giveaway raffle.

See you there!

Tonights User Group Meeting is Cancelled#
Post By Steve "fyiguy" Hughes

Due to an unforseen work emergency I will be working late and won't be able to conduct the meeting tonight and Don is off in Toronto on business. We will make it up next month with a pretty good agenda with a mix of Developer and Enthusiast/Enterprise focus for the next meeting. We will nail out an agenda to fit both and post it up well in advance.

Again I am sorry for not being able to do this at the last minute, but we will make it up to next month! :)
